Mkpat Enin Women Are Ready For OBA as Voter Education Intensifies

Wife of the Senator Obong Bassey Albert, the Gubernatorial flag bearer of Young Progressive Party (YPP) has hailed the women of Mkpat Enin Local Government Area on the level of preparedness towards the forth coming governorship race in Akwa Ibom State.

In an appreciation post via her official Facebook Page, Pastor Imaobong Nkeiru Bassey Albet said, "We witnessed the mock elections carried out today by women of Mkpat Enin and I can say for certain that Mkpat Enin is ready for OBA.

Beyond the fanfare of campaigns, 500 women leaders were educated on easy identification of the YPP logo, where to vote on the ballot paper, the fingers to use for voting and advised to get their PVCs before the January 22 deadline, and this is to be replicated in their various Units".

She also commended Mrs. Ima-Abasi Ekanem Brown and the women leaders in Mkpat Enin for the beautiful efforts put together to achieve such results, and asked other Local Government Areas to take a clue from the women of Ikot Abasi.

Pastor Imaobong Bassey heaped prayers on the women and asked God's blessings on them.
